QIRAAT RESEARCH: REVISED ANALYSIS AND CODE
Public author marker: mhmdn
Scientific revision: 6 October 2026
Public packaging: 6 October 2026

This package contains the narrow audited repairs to the original 20 September
dataset used by the report. It does not substitute the larger 30 September
reconstruction. Three existing components are reassigned to their existing
connecting-two-sukuns block; one conditional pronoun-ha component is excluded.
Every other retained transmission-state assignment is unchanged.

DOWNLOADS AND EXTRACTION
Download both revised-analysis.zip and original-source.zip. For example:
  unzip revised-analysis.zip -d qiraat-research
  unzip original-source.zip -d qiraat-research/source_archive
The resulting source_archive/qiraat_stemma/ folder contains the complete
original source snapshot and its original analysis. The revised calculation
inputs and all needed baseline files are already included in calculations/.
No live-source crawl is needed to reproduce the revised numerical results.

REPRODUCE THE REPORT MODEL
Install Python 3 with numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, matplotlib and Pillow.
  python calculations/build_repaired_results.py
For only the audited input repair and counts:
  python calculations/build_repaired_results.py --prepare-only
Then follow figures/README.txt and compatibility/README_REPRODUCE.txt.
The optional browser renderer needs Playwright and Chromium. The optional
spreadsheet builder needs @oai/artifact-tool; the supplied workbook and plain
numeric payload are readable without that builder.

MODELS AND INTERPRETATION
The report uses accepted sets with equal block weights for diffusion and all
fixed features with equal block weights for PCA. The atlas opens in its original
fixed-word default: select all characters/equal blocks for the report model.
All 20 transmissions participate in the fit. Full diffusion distances use all
18 nonzero dimensions; the cube displays axes 1-3. No geographical rotation or
rescaling was applied. The origin is the stationary-weighted mean, not an
equidistant centre. Region labels do not determine numerical positions.
Compatibility intervals belong to a separate tree/root-based analysis; they
are neither diffusion distances nor probabilities of historical originality.
The figures and calculations do not establish a historical cause.

BASELINE AND CURRENT RESULTS
Files labelled baseline, original or source_templates and the source archive
contain historical inputs, checks or presentation templates. They are not the
current numerical results. Use calculations/results.json and the corrected
compatibility outputs for current values.

PUBLIC-RELEASE CLEANUP
Personal attribution was replaced with mhmdn. Private document/storage links
and local machine paths were removed or made relative. Superseded private
document-editing checks were excluded. Archive manifests were regenerated.
The original raw source responses, parsed source records, research matrices,
corrected numerical results, scientific figures and workbooks are unchanged
by this packaging step. Historical audit hashes retain their original meaning;
where a metadata-only file changed, PUBLIC_PACKAGING.json gives its earlier
and current checksum. Use MANIFEST.json for this public package's current files.
No user discussion comments or private document revision history are included.
Raw third-party source notices and scholarly citations are retained.

The pre-cleanup revised archive SHA-256 was:
4faa117454c44977ee627f316efe0bbd9b09f05b7dc989b9ba2e36a3cbe92c90
The pre-cleanup original source archive SHA-256 was:
3960746247ad4b8aa550ba2be6aafe36aab8b221e248a6a25c2722add11e8cf6
Those checksums identify historical input archives, not these repackaged ZIPs.
Floating-point differences at machine precision may occur across platforms.
